This is sure a heavy, wet snow. I''l probably have a nice path for the mailman going to and from my house, used the snowrake on my eves, salted, knocked down the icicles, and made a cup of hot chocolate before you get your blades unclogged.

after you are done with your hot coco and post heavy wet snow shoveling heart attack, i'll be sure to clear your snow before mine the rest of winter so your old nurse can get in to change your diaper.

have you considered purchasing a snow blower?

not only does it prevent heart attacks....it's some of the most fun you can have while doing chores around the house

Yes. Thank You. And when you are done would you mind getting the shovel out of my garage and touching up the spots you missed with your snow blower? Oh, and don't forget my steps. Can't really use the snow blower on those.

If you are in danger of having a heart attack from shoveling snow, you might want to invest in a gym membership instead of spending your money on a snowblower. You can use the savings from your less expensive shovel.

I'm neutral. If you live in Alaska, maybe.

What's your opinion on Rake Vs. Leaf Blower?

i prefer to let nature run it's natural course

but if you have to do something with the leaves, it depends on teh size of the lot and number of tree's. my lot/tree ratio is of a rake variety.

what is your stance on gas vs. reel mowers

I also have a yard of the rake variety.
I thought gas powered was the "real kind."
I have used both. I prefer a gas powered because I believe it offers a more manicured look. I am putting serious consideration into a cordless /gas free manual mower.

Snowstorms are my "free" workout. . I'm not paying $50/month for a gym membership.
