An Evening With Pearl Jam. Has a time been announced? Gate time? Couple of hours before the show?

Sunset on the 19th is at 8:21. Should expect the show to begin around 8:30 to accommodate a 3+ hour total performance?

Ideas? Looks like Springsteen was on at 8:15ish... but sunset in September is an hour earlier.

Will obviously try to get to town to arrive in Wrigleyville at a decent time to enjoy some bevies and snacks at the local bars and parties before the show.

What is everyone planning for the day of the show?

Input would help some of us to plan our trip re hotels... rest time to gear up for the show after a marathon drive into Chicago.
IF NOTHING IS EVERYTHING, I'LL HAVE IT ALL.

For hotels, there really aren't any by wrigley. Your best bet is downtown area, then take the red line L ($2.25 per person) straight to the addison stop. It runs 24/7 so you could take it back late too, but if you have a few people I'd split a cab back (around $20 total), since there won't be much traffic then. All the bars around wrigley will be full of pj fans.

I'm guessing the show will start a bit after 7 PM, perhaps an acoustic one hour set, and then a short break and full electric set for the rest of the night.

I read an article somewhere that said 7:30. That would give time for an acoustic set, tear down and then a full on, snot bubbling rock show!!!
Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.
