I'm only halfway through, but so far I haven't really enjoyed it. I expected it to be much better. The phone calls haven't been very interesting, either.
Not a fan of the live versions of Faithful and Wishlist he chose. Faithful should have been the album track because it kicks ass and there are better versions of Wishlist than the one from MSG. Maybe I'm alone, but I'm not the biggest fan of that DVD. MSG night 2 was superior, IMO.
Sorry for sounding so critical, but that's just how I feel.
Anyway, I'm going to finish listening to it today and hopefully it gets better.Another habit says it's in love with you
Another habit says its long overdue
Another habit like an unwanted friend
I'm so happy with my righteous self0 -

Yes that msg 7/8/03 show was just terrible, wasnt it? Starting the show with lbc and the versions of wishlist, in my tree, i am mine, crown of thorns, half full, etc were just awful! it was the best one ive been to but what do i know? and to make a dvd of that show was just so silly. dont know what the band was thinking on that one. i actually watch it w my tv muted. And perhaps you should have called in today to make it an interesting show. Please let us know when you finish listening and your final thoughts so we can all rest. Please also send some suggestions to rob. We're all waiting. He was ok but wondering about wandering0 -

I was bummed I wasn't able to go to the first night-
Glad to hear I went to the better show-

I have to admit, after rereading my post, I sound like a whiny, self-righteous sour puss, lol. In my defense, I woke up at 5:30 in the morning and laid there sleepy and typed that with one eye open and went back to sleep.
I liked the Stone clips best. Still not a fan of the MSG DVD though - even if they did open with Love Boat Captain

Thank you for sharing!!!"McCready played on, lending credence to the theory that he was actually built in Stone’s basement from spare truck parts and vinyl records." - Glide Mag. review of MSG 7/8/030
