This is coming from a 40 year old Pearl Jam fan that has seen 137 shows.

Its amazing that you met every single NY Pearl Jam fan and that they all acted that way. Get real... there are assholes in every town.

Thtas actually a dimwitted thing to say , being to 137 shows surely uyou know that MSG Venue is always the highest turnout of 10C members and always has people not only traveling to there from all over the country but also all over the world over.

People attempted to smoke cigarettes near me last night, until i poliitely told them that smoking was illegal inside the building,.. , and that they should now put it out,... and cease the smoking, or I' easily go and get security.

End of problem be mature and ask someone politely, and you wont have a problem.

Incidentally, this guy was definitely not a NYer , he was somewhere from the south and wore a doorag , but he appeared tpo enjoy the show and still rocked out , without smoking anymore.

Considering during a show you can only hear, smell, see what the people only a few feet away are doing, you are stereotyping based on a few bad seeds.. being 40, and after 100+ shows, I would think by now you'd realize this.
