I mean, i dont get to see him much
but he held you guys in tonight.
He robbed both Hagelin and Stepan multiple times.

    Good series thursfar,...
He has been the best player on the team this year.
The PK and PP have been dreadful.

Add to it that Giroux is playing like complete garbage.
And so you see, I have come to doubt

i was about the say the same about Giroux but thought i'd get ripped on here for saying it. he needs to be better.

and at this rate Timmonen will break down long before the playoffs. can the flyers ever develop some top shelf young defensemen?

bryz has been really good so far this year.

and it's nice to see Madison Square Garden actually have lights. Looks like the refurbishing of the building is going well. can actually see in the corners now.

The answer is....No. Same with goaltenders, and wingers. This organization just does not have the patience to let these people develop combined with the inability to draft well in those areas.

All they seem to be able to develop are Centers....and they draft a shitload of them..hence the overload of centers on this team.
    We still need a #1 D-man, and a #1 Winger.

This team is very young and very old. It's going to take some time.

Hopefully they get some practice in over these two off days and work on the PP and PK. They are at least two things you can work on in practice. However, there is going to be very little practice time this season. The scarier thing is the total lack of effort against TB. I mean one early goal and everyone is coasting out there... it was ridiculous.

Bryz has looked good, so hopefully he'll keep it up.

Battle of the bums tonight boys. I think the Caps will get spanked. For the first time in a long while, I can honestly say that I'm embarassed to be a Caps fan.

If they lose to a struggling Caps team, which played last night, things could get very dramatic.

Bad game by L. Schenn thus far.

In danger to losing to a bad team that played last night.
Simmonds out of the game with some sort of injury.

Things are very bad right now.
The offense cannot score more than 2 goals a night and the D is a mess.

do we miss jeff carter's scoring yet? how are the carter and richard's trades working out so far for this franchise? carter and richards with rings, schenn, simmonds and voracek not so much. where is my boy, he is awfully silent these days.

    this team stinks

Carter blows. Everybody but you knows it. The Richards trade probably isn't working out all that well.

Can we trade for John LeClair and Eric Desjardins?

You gotta remember that these players are still pretty young. Schenn still only has about a full year under his belt.
Voracek is another story, but the whole team is struggling.
Giroux looks like he never played a game before in his life.

This is how bad it is right now: T. McGinn, a call up from a couple weeks ago, is now on the top scoring line.

Will be interesting to see how many games Erskine gets for his elbow on Simmonds last night.

Amazing how much hartnell being out has hurt giroux. That hairy bastard really helps create space on the ice.

Never thought I'd say that the flyers 'miss' hartnell.
