I just listened to Ten, VS, and Vitalogy back to back to back. I love the other records, but I truly hope to hear all the hits from these three albums at Wrigley. Give me one b-side and maybe one Chicago related cover, but I really want to hear the songs I feel in love with years ago......

I have to disagree with you 100 percent. I dont want to hear a "greatest hits set" are you nuts. That is what they play at festivals, not a show like this. Remember this is NOT a festival, this is a Pearl Jam show.

    Come on man.....
Who do you expect at this show, 30000 ten club members. You'll get a cover or two and a few rare ones, but this atmosphere and crowd will resemble a festival. There will be more casual fans at this show than any other and you will hear lots of hits...... And it's gonna be awesome!!!!

This will (hopefully) be my first show, so I definitely would like to see the greatest hits played. I wouldn't mind to have some rarities mixed in, but I'm hoping to see all the big songs.

I meant to add. . . . I would love a 'nothing but rarities' set, I'm dying to hear "All Those Yesterdays", "No Way", "Rats", "Present Tense" etc. etc. but I will not complain with a greatest hits set either, I'm sure it will be awesome regardless.

That brings up an interesting question...How many Pearl Jam shows have had setlists with exclusively Pearl Jam songs, no covers?

Yes, Hard to Imagine as the opener, release has been done enough... Or maybe Last Exit to open.

as far as the setlist, what Theo wants, Theo gets...

I do bet In Hiding gets played....

    2010 - St. Louis, MO
    2011 - East Troy, WI 1 & 2 (PJ20 Destination Weekend)
2012 - Atlanta, GA, Missoula, MT
2013 - Chicago, IL (Wrigley Field), Dallas, TX, Oklahoma City, OK

RIP Andrew Wood, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, and Chris Cornell

RIP Mom (may your star shine the brightest in the sky, our family loves and misses you very much, we'll meet again)

  • If I hear any of the following tunes @ Wrigley: No Way, Rats, Present Tense, All Those Yesterdays, Deep - I really don't care about the rest of the set, I will be ecstatic, those are my white wales. & If I don't hear any of them. . . . I'm sure I'll be a happy camper too. Even the more pedestrian "greatest hits" sets are incredible nights. . . . . I can't wait.

(I won't complain if they throw a little Brain of J or Tremor Christ in there for good measure!)

I'm like a lot of people I'm sure. I have a roster of songs I haven't heard yet and would love to (ie. Footsteps), but I try not to hope for anything, simply because its out of our control. What gets played gets played. Besides, there are so few rarities nowadays that I simply hope for every song except You Are ;-). Good song on the album, but one I find dull live)

Anyway, of course I have some I'd love to hear. Here's to hoping. I'm more curious if I'll ever get one of these three hour shows people go on about. ;-)

    Well..I never!

    ;-)

Ive had all the openers I can think of. Need footsteps. Deep. Brother. In Hiding. And..well..my personal holy grail would be the one time only playing of Believe You Me with full band. But I need this to happen at the London show for various reasons ;-)

Thanks for making this happen Ed. The London show. I repeat. The London show.
