Ed knows how write a setlist.
It will be just right, a bunch of hits, a bunch of new tunes, a couple of lost dogs and one or two surprises.

    +1.

Also, as corny as it may sound, there is something to be said for the electricity that is generated by 40,000 people singing along so I wouldn't be terribly upset with a good amount of hits for that alone. But it is Ed's place and all, so I also expect 10 Clubbers to get theirs as well.

    This.

The setlist is going to be awesome because it always is. And some rarities are rare for a reason.

I am hoping for a Pearl Jam only set at Wrigley. No covers, just the good stuff.

I actually kind of enjoy alot of the covers but this would make for a great show.

I do too. But I think this would be a great way to work in as many hits and a few deep cuts as possible.

  • Idk about greatest hits... Look at Bonnaroo.

And here's the thing, whether it's lottery or not, there's gonna be a SHIT TON of 10C members at this show. I'd say probably 2/3. They'll bust out a few special gems.

I'm hoping for fantastic weather, a great overall mood, Ed with a well-oiled voice and all of them in great spirits. A "greatest hits" set from No Code, Yield, Binaural, and Riot Act would be fantastic, but I'm gonna have a great time anyway - it's going to be a summer night in Chicaaaago with PJ

I just listened to Ten, VS, and Vitalogy back to back to back. I love the other records, but I truly hope to hear all the hits from these three albums at Wrigley. Give me one b-side and maybe one Chicago related cover, but I really want to hear the songs I feel in love with years ago......

I have to disagree with you 100 percent. I dont want to hear a "greatest hits set" are you nuts. That is what they play at festivals, not a show like this. Remember this is NOT a festival, this is a Pearl Jam show.

    Come on man.....

Is there any history of shows where they have no opening act? Does anyone think they might play longer than the usual 30 tunes (give or take a few)?

Just curious what people's thoughts on that aspect are, I'm obviously hoping for a longer than normal set, I just don't know if that's realistic or not.

Regardless of the setlist, I expect a lot of energy, and a killer show. I drove to Philly for MIA with a buddy and had a blast seeing a lot of acts I never would have seen other wise; but bottom line, I was there for PJ & PJ only. I'm looking forward to a show with no opener and hope they capitalize on the extra time. I am so excited for this show, words fail me.
