I wonder what your 10c numbers are? Just wondering if people with high numbers ( new to the club) got screwed, or if some oldtimers got screwed as well.

    141xxx... shut out.
  • It's all about the money folks. This band is very mainstream and commercialized. Do you think this would have happened years ago when "the band" cared about the fans, not a bunch of people in an office looking out for the all mighty dollar. This band just cares about money nowadays.

Sure to ahead jump on me for the comment but its reality.

What would they say if years ago their own fan club couldn't get a ticket through their own fan club. Seems silly to me.

Do they charge more to fans who have less seniority? I don't follow the money logic.

They never had guaranteed seats for fan club and there have probably been hundreds of shows where fan club members were shut out.

I caught a post from a Chicago member with a 50,XXX number that was shut out.

    Brutal.
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

"Me knowing the truth, I can not concur."

  • I honestly think the band cares about the fans and the 10c does as well... they changed the system and it works against me because I sit in front of a computer all day but the guy or gal with a job with no computer access is loving it. The tide has changed is all....

Seniority is important but new fans can be just as big a fan as old fans and deserve a chance as well.

I was hoping Wrigley would be a huge 10c show with thousands of tickets, I was wrong. Of the 4 people I know personally we all got shout out. So we can't be glad 2 of us got in and we can all go. We're all scrambling now...

Maybe 10c needs a system where 65% of the tickets sold are based on senority and 35% on random luck.

Weight it for long standing members but give others a chance as well.

There is no perfect system. This system got rid of everyone racing to the computer hoping to get in fast. That's all it's done. Guys like me who always got tix, well we're not now.

and we should all just accept what YOU say as fact/reality? :corn:
it's their art, it's their 'product,' it's their lives to decide. saying you know how you think a group of 5 people care or don't care about several million other people is your reality mate.
