    Melky is the perfect example of why I am one of those who despise the steriod/enhanced drugs era and think fuckers like Bonds, Palermo, Sosa dont deserve the HOF... and Melky deserved to be banned for a season basically (should be more). Melky went from slightly above average to league leader in batting average. Fucking cheaters.

    And Arod, whatthefuck? With his amount of injuries, without steroids, he'd have retired by now. Now he'll just suck $125 million out of the yankees to pick up girls near the dugout and hope they dont see his shriveled up balls.

    Yeah, I mean, I have stated many times that I can't get worked up about steroids and the writers who do are hypocritical jackasses. That said, if you get caught now, you have what's coming to you. I don't blame anyone for taking them when they weren't testing but if you take them now, that's on you and you have to live with the punishment.

    The one sport that should care about steroids doesn't seem to and there isn't a peep. If the NFL really cared about players safety, which by the way is slightly more important than some records, then they would crack down on steroids. If these guys keep getting bigger and faster, I am pretty sure what Pollard said could happen, will happen.

    we agree, I think pretty much, completely.

    my "big thing" has always been that it's just as unfair to say "we KNOW player x NEVER took steroids" (e.g. griffey) as it is to say "we just KNOW player z DID take steroids" (e.g. piazza, bagwell....who, incidently, I think did)

    I know I'll get hammered by some people on here for this, but I know for a fact Jeter has never taken steroids/HGH/PEDs ever. If news ever comes out that he did, I don't think I could ever watch baseball again.
