    I really don't think the first month of this season means much. A lot of these guys are obviously out of shape. Stay healthy and get into the playoffs.

    that said, would be nice to see the flyers win a game

    I'll be shocked if they dont win by at least 3 tonight.

    Look at our 3rd/4th lines
    25 Max Talbot - 21 Scott Laughton - 32 Tom Sestito
    15 Tye McGinn - 11 Eric Wellwood - 45 Jody Shelley

    Since the last lockout, no team has ever made the playoffs after starting the season 0-3. It isn't much of a stat but hey, you guys have a huge mt to climb.

    I'm not worried. The specials look horrible, the defense looks old and slow, and injuries are mounting. Still no need to panic after 3 games.

    nah, because I'm realistic. It's the NHL, more teams make playoffs than don't. They could go 0-10 and still get in

    briere is their second best player on the PP. Lot of young guys on roster. No training camp, so guys still playing their way into game shape.

    I wont look at the standings for another 2 weeks.

    Not sure if you guys are new to following sports, but there's no such thing as a must win game in the first month of the season

    if any teams in the nhl loses 10 straight games this year they wont make the playoffs! i may put that number to 8! we'll see

    of course it's not good. but it's certainly not the end of the world (or season).
