well based on the first period I just watched between the Wings and the Blues, the Blues are going to be one of the tougher teams to beat, they are even more tougher, more skilled, same system, well coached, faster than they were last year. 2-0 St.Louis outshoot 17-2 just a slaughter

I wasn't excited at all going into last night. Which is strange considering how much I love hockey. Once they dropped the puck though that reversed itself. Even more so when Shawn Thorton and Mike Rupp dropped the gloves.

It's good to see the awful calls are back along with the NHL.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

I am sooooooo sad that Otter is no longer a Star. :( Damnit all! Enjoy our dear Otter. He will be amazing with the Sabres, I just know it.

Damien Brunner scored the lone shootout goal
to win it for the Detroit Red Wings tonight in Columbus and it was beautiful.
