No ma'am, I won't register my guns

I'm not for that. I want people to have their hunting rifles and shotguns. While I don't hunt anymore and likely never will again... I still respect people who choose to hunt for their meat.
The protection thing is over-hyped. It really think it is. The video that disputed Piers' facts said there were 260 justified homicides by civilians using guns. In a country with 311 million people and over 200 million guns... that's a pretty small number of people that have been forced to use their gun in self defence. It's kind of like suggesting you need a spear gun to swim in the ocean because great white sharks are just waiting to get you.
Handguns and assault rifles... there really is no need for them unless you are in the military, police, or bonded security sector. I know my father used to carry a sidearm when he hunted, so I could be persuaded to allow these for very suitable people who could demonstrate they use the sidearm for such a purpose."My brain's a good brain!"0 -

Seriously, how can you make such assertions when you know nothing about anyone here, outside of their stated positions and opinions?0 -

When did I ever say people didn't need guns in their lives. You're assuming again me thinks. I advocate tighter restrictions on types of weapons and backround checks, I have never advocated a full ban.0 -

I have spent more than a week in such a place, which by your flawed logic allows me to have more of a voice than others, so here it goes; There is no need to have semi automatic rifles in the home.
And again no one is advocating a full ban, so there is no basis for your argument.0 -

I love it, firstly you say that only someone that has lived in a tough neighbourhood can really have an opinion on the matter, two people put their hand up saying they qualify, still disagree with you.
And now you come out with your next qualifier, as the first didn't work.
So, I have indeed owned two guns in the past.

I felt like responding to this post, but I'm not going to bother. What I am going to say to this post is as follows: it was kind of cute for a while, but your non-sensical posts leave too much to be desired for me to spend another second on. Many on here spend a bit of time editing and re-wording their posts so they can sound reasonable discussing items. If you choose to discuss things with adults... you should probably act like one.
Message aside... the delivery of your posts come on to this forum as if you puked them out of your phone. Come on, man.
I'll save you the trouble... I know what your response will be: methinks uppittywrites herforme."My brain's a good brain!"0 -

"And here in America, it isn't 1776, and it won't ever be again. The founders may have thought citizens should be able to keep a musket if they wanted, but they also wrote into the Constitution that the government had the obligation to "suppress insurrections." They hoped that our freedom would be guaranteed by our laws and institutions, not by a guy down the block with an AR-15 and a chip on his shoulder."
I personally like the idea that the writer talks about laws and institutions. guns don't give a person liberty, laws give people liberty.that worksgreat against criminals trythat when abadguy bulldozes in your house at2am.
