the whole planet isnt NY-Philly -Boston..
they will make a system works better to ever place in the world..
cant think,we will stay at f5 pain in the ass cos those folks at northeast want to go to more than a show..
ill tell u this, and to remind u, im one of the guys that goes to more than one show at a tour leg..
do you think, all 10c tic will be for sale ,for the members, will be sold out??
i think yes...
means, will go to 10c members..well..its ok..better more different members score them..
I do agree with this. If I get 1 set of 10C tickets to a show in my area, I'll be happy. Would I try for more? Of course. But, if it means more folks get access, how can that be a bad thing?
As many of us have said - there are other tickets.Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.0 -
adropinthepark wrote:Here's the thing, though. You will always get in to show you really want to see. For as many times as I have stressed myself out with all of the F5ing, I have trouble reminding myself of this.
As an example, I decided to go to the very sold out PJ 2010 MSG shows two weeks prior to their occurrence and I got in. Purchased extra 10C tickets the first night and was a seatmate to a ticketmaster ticket buyer the second night.
Maybe the 10C can't always help us out with tickets. It's okay, if you know where to look. Besides, I think that the 10C having a higher demand than supply is a good thing.
I'm for a ticket lottery system, simply because it will help me feel like it's out of my hands a little sooner. And, I will, therefore, stress a little less.
This is the main thing to keep in mind.
You must have a really, really good number if your seats are so good you're gonna feel robbed in comparison by any ticket you can possibly find on the open market!0 -

So when will we be able to do this again but with real shows?
Any guesses?
I hope Jan or Feb, but I'd bet just a little bit later. Maybe ending of March..0 -

Here are a few ideas that other bands that I thought was cool:
U2
Some of the best tickets to a U2 show are sold to the club members and at a lower price than other seats.
On their Vertigo tour, the floor was GA in two sections. When you got to the show, you scanned your ticket and you might be randomly selected to be at the front of the floor (inside the heart of the stage). I was selected and that was awesome.
For U2's presale, you could select if you wanted the floor, the side etc... another nice feature.
I've also seen presales where every other row went to the pre-sale. So if you were in a smaller market, you could pick your ticket. They could limit it to only will-call orders to help with the scalping issue.
When EV played two shows in a city, the first night was ten club only and the second night was a ticketmaster night. That was an interesting concept too.
I also think Pearl Jam could play in the round. PJ is one of the few bands out there that don't need a backdrop and can put on a killer show with just a few lights. So play in the round and there won't be a bad seat in the building. It also helps with crowd control as the crowd is more spread out throughout the arena.
I also wish PJ would do the Stones thing of playing a club the first night, an arena the next night, and a stadium the third night.92 - Orlando
03 - Tampa
08 - Tampa
12 - DeLuna Fest, EV Orlando 1 & 2, EV Ft Lauderdale 1 & 2
13 - Wrigley!!! ,Brooklyn 1 & 2, Hartford, OKC, Seattle
14 - Leeds, Milton Keynes, St Louis
16 - Ft Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Wrigley 1 & 20 -

Hello
Say the Pearl Jam 10 Club presale starts on a Monday and the public sale on ticketmaster starts on Thursday. Are we going to find out before Thursday if we got the 10 club tickets? I usually go to multiple shows and need to know in advance if I did not get 10 Club tickets so I can try to get them during the ticketmaster public sale. If we are not going to know this I will have to get all my tickets on ticketmaster so that I do not miss out or end up with way more thickets then I need. By now 10 Club must know that members would rather get tickets throught the 10 Club than on ticketmaster.

Why would they travel to NYC between 2 Boston shows?
There's only 1 Garden.
Better sound in Boston. Sorry...___________________________________________

yep. and the band won't be seeing the same faces up front at every show.0 -
Now if I could only talk the 10Club into turning the 1st 20 rows into "Lottery Seats"...
I will be a happy man.
Give EVERONE a shot at the 1st 20 rows.Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....0 -

you cant win multiple shows with the new lottery ,put priority order the shows..
so more different people will score the tix...so, different members will be in the first rows at every show.."...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".

So what you are saying is, you can only get 10club tickets to ONE SHOW? Whether it be your 1st choice or 2nd choice, etc? You can only get 10club tickets to ONE SHOW?
Is that correct dimitri?Take me piece by piece.....

We are pretty sure that is how it will work out in the NYC's, Bostons and Chicagos of the world.___________________________________________

Better atmosphere at The Worlds Most Famous Arena (and with the updates I don't think you're right anymore. They've moved the lighting and other sound "obstructions" that have been challenges in the past. Should be interesting to see what happens in the final phase when they add the walk overs.)
But I'm fine with Radio City, Garden, Yankee Stadium AND Orpheum, TD Whateveryousoldyoursolefor, Fenway
Of course Radio City holds almost as many as Fenway, so maybe it could be Roseland or something instead
Cheers!Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.0 -

and that make it harder..
so now, seems, more local people will get tickets, cos they will put their town as number 1 and more different members will score tix..
especially at northeast and chicago
its a good thing..
for me ,i go to alot of shows ,isnt good, but its more fair more different members to score,so im more than ok with that"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
