I always get a kick out of everyone that says pearl jam ALWAYS plays these marathon sets.

I've only seen them 4 times but every time i saw them it was about 1hour 50 minutes to 2 hour 5 minutes.

I enjoyed every show though and i'm sure i would have dug this one too.

i thought the main set was damn good...probably an 8.5/10

as has been stated, encores were a bit weak...maybe 5/10.

overall, a fine start to a tour. see you all here tomorrow night!

    yeah only , *shaking head*

i think it was 26 anywyas.

    edit never mind 25

I'm not being a dick, but 28-30 has become status quo and take into account they finished 10 minutes early...though that said, Toronto got a short setlist in 2006 to start things off

Looked like a good opening set. Glorified G, Grievance,Why Go.... However no Corduroy,Go,Last Exit and Marker in the Sand, otherwise known as the 4 best live songs in the catalogue.

Good to have the guys back.

Are you kidding me? Wheteher or not it was your 'thing', how can you argue with 'Oceans' as an opener, 'Sad', 'Faithful', 'Who you are'(it's been TEN years!),'low light', 'glorified g', 'why go', and 'no more'?? This was a GREAT setlist!

    here here! thanks justam!

after EV solo, yeah, i'm done with No More (and woe to the crowd that hesitates to sing along, for the Eddie's wrath shall be unleashed upon the young republicans the next night!) will be interesting how political he/they get in an election year (i tuned out for the drive home, haven't read all 38 pages!)

hafta kinda sort agree, very wickedly strong start and kinda peters out for the encores, but shazam! Tom Waits cover! Lil nod to the man goin on tour next week!

And Billy Bragg is goin on at the SF Filmore oh in about an hour, I should really go.... Dang dang dang....
    [sic] happens

They've played only a small handful of 30-song sets in their day. You're overestimating the length of their typical setlists.
