Canada's founding!!

Im just wondering what the difference is between the Evil USA and Canada's foundings? Can you please explain what makes Canada's a genuine founding, and the Evil USA's evil?

Cause Im seeing Canada being founded by the French before the other white people came to the USA! And Im pretty sure it wasnt all Tea parties!

I also know that Russia and China did very bad things! I know that many current nations today were founded and created on things that arent so good! :evil:

Austraila's founding and early days are so pretty either! LOL 8-) 8-)

So can anyone give me a good story of their founding? A founding that didnt have rape and pillage, war, slavery, imperialism, etc. Can you? Im just curious..... :?:

Good honest content that is against any nation other than the USA is hard to come by on the train! Thanks for this input! Hope to get some other good answers this month!

I'm not sure what thread or comments you're referring to..

I always called Australia's 'founding' as an invasion as it's classified as an invasion now anyway...

Thats a good honest answer with fairness. I like that tone cause it speaks from humility and honesty! The USA gets beat up here more than any other country by far. Im sorry, but maybe you dont notice. im still seeking a founding that was completely good and genuine!! I want people realize that America's founding is no worse than any others and through civility we have tried to change the course of human history for the betterment of mankind! It just seems that America and its founding principles get ZERO credit with just about everyone on the train!

not many people "bash" the US for its founding. Canada and the US were founded on genocide and theft of land. there's no disputing that. and it's still going on.

people bash the US, not as a nation, but as a government and its policies. and there are things very wrong with the culture (guns). but there are issues with all cultures. this just happens to be a website where most of members are american, so most of the discussion is going to revolve around american politics and affairs.

if you want to toot the american horn, expect people to mute it.

I was waiting for your answer! I like you Hughey! You seem very fair, curious, smart and empathetic! Your tones are that of fairness and you do bring up alot of good points in all your threads. I approach every thread with a new clear playing field and I dont carry feelings from one thread to another. I feel as if there are alot of anti-Americans who continually bash the USA unfairly. I try to find another country that is neutral, such as Canada and I try to find the good of it. I see that there arent many nations out there that have been good over the years. So I try to give the good ol USA a chance to help the world before judging them in a negative way. I dont see that from people here.....

Not everybody thinks the US is some beacon of light that stands separate and above the rest of the world. Do you think the response would be different if somebody posted a long winded rant about the British Empire being god's gift to earth or if a Canadian started blathering on about the moral superiority of Canada?

I'm stuck about being prouder of the "theft of the land" or the fact that they could sail that far in the first place.

But in the end if it meant so much to so many people, they wouldn't want to come here to live nowadays.

If the USA wasnt founded, discovered and stolen by the English white men, then dont you think that Hitler, Japan, or Mao, or some other dictator, would have come in later and did worse? At least we turned it into something worthwhile!
