The first responder was in the second thread he started - first one got locked because he was looking for "offers."
At this point anyone who actually buys this is taking a pretty sizable chance...I wouldn't trust buying from him now after this.

So just out of curiosity - and not because I'm sour I didn't get the opportunity to give you $700 for a Benaroya Hall box set - why wasn't my PM answered from the second thread you had? As you can see, I live in the USA. So according to your logic, I should have had a fair chance. But instead I got ignored, like many others apparently. A simple "sorry I sold it" would have been sufficient. Even if it was a lie.

It's more the spirit of this forum that's getting tarnished, that's frosting my ass.

That's exactly what I was getting at in my post on the first page. Again, I live in Canada but PM'd him pretty quick (I don't know if I was first or not) when his first thread was posted. He said he'd check into shipping, I PM'd him twice after that and he didn't even send a response.

If he's ever looking for merch on this forum, I don't think any of us are going to be racing to help him find stuff.

Here come the Benny sharks....you guys have no idea how many PMs the OP got for this. I remember once I had like 30 in the course of a few minutes a few years back. Overwhelming? Yep. Impatience is infectious - round here if you don't answer someone's PMs right away, it seems people do one of two things. First, they incessantly PM you more and more - which can be hard to keep track of. Second, they come on here and start calling people names like grade school bullies. Once that happens, there's blood in the water so to speak and well....here come the Benny sharks. 8-)

I think we all understand how desirable this box set is, and how crazy the PM process would be - the point is not that we're a bunch of sharks pissed off because we didn't get what we wanted. It's the three threads he started, where people clearly PMd with interest to buy early on, were ignored, and yet another new thread was started looking to sell again.

Trust me, it isn't the end of the world if I or anyone else don't get a Benaroya Hall box set. It's the questionable way it was handled from the beginning - it's not what Lost Dogs is all about, and it's surely not the type of behavior that should be tolerated here.

Judging character and calling someone a 'fucking idiot' based on a few threads about selling vinyl is ALSO not in the spirit of this forum or board.
