    The easiest way to avoid confronting a problem is to divert attention from the issue by providing a solution that no reasonable person would ever ask for. Only in the United States are guns the solution to every problem including the problems they create. Many Americans need to wake up and realize that gun ownership is a responsibility, not simply a fundamental right. I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

    We have the same in malls, kids see the police there. They aren't bothered.
    Police make one feel safe not the contrary. I wish there had been one at Sandy Hooks.

    More guns equals more problems right? That's people's logic correct? Well then more drugs must equal more problems. SO why the push to legalize pot? It's a drug that comes with problems. Makes perfect sense.

The argument that legalizing it will cut down on problems...and please excuse my French...is utter bullshit.

    I dunno...throwing out some thoughts here, but aren't the cartels the middlemen? Wouldn't legalizing pot - and allowing it to be grown and distributed right here - oust said middlemen?

    And it would also free up much-needed prison space for those who either don't serve their due time, or not nearly enough.

    I don't believe they are middlemen... I could be wrong. I think they set up their own operations of shitty brick weed.

    Legalizing would, in my opinion, cripple their market.

    Ping pong is your only hope.

    I've recently learned that the west is in dire need more ping pong teams. Every school should have at least one ping pong team to protect students from potential threats of violence. Guns do nothing compared to ping pong balls. As an added security measure you could hang a flat panel television in the entrance of every school as they too are quite lethal. America has a lot of work to do too because China is lightyears ahead in ping pong training.

    When they no longer have a market- given people can purchase legally- and the risks of smuggling outweigh the profits sought by undercutting the legal price... they will begin to disappear. It's likely at first they will go at each other's throats competing for the smaller market share, but, eventually... their industry and the havoc they wreak will dramatically change for the better.

    i would be ashamed of my town, my area, my school system, and my school super intendent if the schools in my area had armed guards at the doors. i'd be like, "hell to the no" my kids just dropped out of school & my wife & i are now from this moment onward having our loved children enroll in home schooling programs. fuck a bunch of armed guards at the schools my kids attend. aint happenin...

    again.
    i would be physically ill to come home everyday after work & my kids and i having dinner together & they tell me about Lewis the armed guard weilding a 9mm... fuck the hell off. this country has done lost it's god damn marbles...
