Today, i will try to spend my free time to translating the story...

OMG Whispering Hands!!! I just read the story as a quick break from studying and it made me so happy!! NOW I get fan fiction. That was so unreal . . . such a PERFECT escape from my lonely day. I loved that. It was so much fun. THANK YOU DARLING! I laughed out loud a couple of times . . . and the sex was HOT. Well done.

In regards to whether you should write a novel, well of course you should if it's going to be a labour of love! If it's going to be something you truly enjoy . . . but that said I have a background in book publishing and, in Australia, it's so so difficult to get published. I don't know if it's easier over there? But here it's a pretty tough market. Very tough. And even when you do get published you make barely anything from it. At the library we have a published author who had a 'successful' first novel, it sold 3000 copies. Which, when you work out the royalties of about $3 a book, is only $9000, for something that took her years to write. In Oz there's no money in publishing unless you're Bryce Courtenay or Di Morrisey. But of course it's a different ball game when you have a population of 300 million! My advice to any budding authors I speak to in Oz is, write a book if you WANT to, not because you expect to make any coin from it. And if it does succeed then that's a fabulous bonus. It's like the music world, there's endless competition, and so many talented individuals trying to make dough from something they love. Or like acting. Or like Art. Only a very, VERY lucky few get to the point where they can do just that for a living.

If you have a novel inside of you and you're going to love the time you spend writing that novel, then of course you should write it. And I'm sure there'd be a few PJ and EV fans that would love to read a longer version of the story you just emailed. I think there's enough of us out there that this whole idea of PJ fan fiction is a good one!!! I LOVED THAT! It was so much fun! I kind of feel like I just had sex with Eddie fucking Vedder on a beautiful Californian beach somewhere. AWESOME. Total escapism.

So, in a nutshell, in my opinion, write for the sake of writing . . . write for the sake of yourself, and for other hopeless EV addicts that will gobble up anything that has the words Eddie and Vedder and SEX in it. Write because you want to. And send us all the results! Or even better, post them to a blog where other fans can read them. And if your writings turn into a novel then you can think about sending it to some publishing houses (possibly some that specialise in chick lit, fan-fictiony type stuff) . . . Also, that story could easily be fleshed out a bit too . . . what happens after? Why is EV suddenly single? And why is he so drawn to our heroine? What happened with the awful ex-boyfriend? And also remember to edit your work after you've written it! It's always worth polishing everything you write so that it shines as beautifully as possible.
