I have. Drove to Sandusky Ohio to see my favorite band, 36 crazyfists. I've met Brock a few times in the past and have gotten to know him pretty well. Well enough that I have his phone number and he tells me to text him if I'm going to any of their shows and he will put me on their guest list. So I was talking to him at a bar before the show and asked him if I can film the show. He gives me the green light. So about 40 mins into the show he gives me a shoutout. Aside being one of the coolest rock stars I ever met, we share a love of the Philadelphia flyers. He is also a pearl jam/aic/ brad fan. They even covered satchels criminal justice.

I have. It was funny because I had been talking to them via MySpace (this is a while back when MySpace was good and still relevant) and they put me on the guest list and everything. They gave me a shout out as "Steve from MySpace"...Except my name is Scott!
I hung out with them after the show and they thought it was hilarious (I did too) and from there on out they always called me Steve.
I'm Actually glad they got my name wrong. I would have felt really embarrassed if they did single me out.0 -
I have... just a great bar band called River City Junction. Was talking to the bass player and discovered that not only did we both love the Stones but it was also our birthdays that day. Told him that I would like to hear Sympathy for the Devil and he said he would mention it to the singer/drummer (who, incidently, was a very attractive young lady with a very sexy, smokey voice). About 20 minutes later, I hear the opening drum beat to SFTD, and her voice comes out of the speaker saying (in a very sexy way), "This one's for Kevin, a very big Stones fan. Hope you have a great birthday!"Ottawa 2011

Many of you who went to PJ20 maybe have remembered David Garza. Well in the '90s his band was called Dah-veed and they played constantly in small clubs all over Texas. When my hubby and I were dating in college at Texas A&M in College Station he came to play a club in Bryan. We were standing kinda on the stairs leading up to the stage and towards the end of the show he pointed us out and said "look at this cute couple both wearing Cure t-shirts". I thought it was awesome, but the hubby vowed we would never dress that similarly again.0

yeah, at a Ken Tizzard solo show (Watchmen and Thornley bassist). I didn't hear what he said, but then I heard my full name. I turned around and was like "what did he say?".Gimli 1993

Last summer Ice Cube gave a shout out to my RIP Nate Dogg shirt and complimented my dancing. Being acknowledged by Ice Cube- one of the best moments ever. 8-)
A few years ago I was at a Band of Horses show, I was smoking a joint and Ben Bridwell pointed me out and dedicated Weed Party to me.
Trombone Shorty has called me out at a few shows. We have a thing. One of these days I may have to put out.
There have been others, but those are the ones off the top of my head.

Dave from Japandroids finished a song and said "Thank you"
I replied, "NO! Thank YOU!"
Dave said, "No, Thank YOU!"
It continued like that for a few seconds before Brian broke it up...

What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.0
