I don't know all that much about Charlie off-stage, but he seems like a pretty active a fit man for his age. If he's not touring with the Stones he's touring with his Boogie Woogie band thing. I think it's like voodoopug said, Keith is and has been the wild card. Especially since he fell out of that coconut tree. But aside from that, his hands just look so arthritic that I'm amazed he plays at all. They might look worse than they actually are, because he's still pretty decent with a guitar.
Here is a recent interview with Charlie. This will tell you more about him off-stage.
This is hilarious: "I forgot the name of the record. You know, the one with the cake on it . . ."

The Stones confirmed on their App that Eric Clapton and Florence Welch will be guests at the second O2 show."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0

No opening band for these shows.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Mick T news about him playing at the Newark shows is true! I never thought I'd have the chance to see Taylor back on stage with them.
I could do without the other guest spots. Jeff Beck's playing annoys the hell out of me, especially his desire to be so far forward in the mix. These shows should just have Taylor and Wyman guesting with Lisa Fischer handling Gimme Shelter (I'd also be happy with Merry Clayton). There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.0 -

I think Mick is confirmed for the rest of the shows. At least there's a topic over at IORR that says he is, I hadn't looked too deeply into it or checked the sources. It seems to be considered fact over there from what I've read. I hope he is, for your sake, and I'd love to see him on the PPV event. Plus there's so many songs he needs to play. Midnight Rambler, while a great showcase of his skills in the past, is not on my short list of song I would have liked to see him play on. Can't You Hear Me Knocking would be great, it doesn't sound the same with Ronnie playing. Sway, 100 Years Ago, Dance Little Sister, or even Heartbreaker (the Brussels Affair arrangement) would be great as well.
I heard Mary J. Blige did great on Gimme Shelter. I've never been all that attached to Lisa, so I don't really mind. I'm not sure how Florence Welch (also rumored to be singing on Gimme Shelter) is going to do, she just doesn't have the right voice for it in my opinion. Merry Clayton would be great, but does she still perform? Doing a little looking, I don't see her having done anything at all since 1994."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -

A little disappointed that they had Bill and Mick play on the same songs as the last show. They should have had Taylor play on Live With Me, that version he plays on Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out is amazing."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -
Hey SF have you seen any boot for the first show yet I've checked all over and still haven't seen one.0

I haven't seen any. I've seen over on IORR there's a DVD somebody put up to download, but it's just a compilation of YouTube videos from the show, and put in order.
I'm sure there will be an official release of these shows soon. I would imagine they'll probably do a DVD box set (like Four Flicks or The Biggest Bang) for all the 50th Anniversary shows, or at the very least put them up to download."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -

Yea, it would've been nice if they played on some other songs.
How many repeats? 17 or 18?0 -

They also had a audio bootleg on IORR, but the quality is not that great. I'm surprised that ther hasn't been ALOT of different versions of the show.0 -

Well, if I were paying those ticket prices, I'd probably be more concerned/focused on enjoying the show than trying to bootleg it. I'm sure there are some more sources out there, the tapers at IORR like to mix the audio and create artwork and shit before they make it available."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -

I'm really hoping for official downloads of these shows. And it seems reasonable. They've taken the time to set up this online distribution thing with Google and their own Archive website, and they appear to still be making changes and working on it, as they changed up the game with the last release and now Google Play is available in Europe and other places. So it seems to me like they have more planned for this project. It might just be for future Archive releases, but since they have the network set up, why not sell downloads of the shows? Of course I'd still like to see the shows on DVD, but digital audio of the shows would be great to go along with it."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -
Official downloads would be great hopefully they release all the shows.0

Well, it looks like at least the first show (but I'm sure all will be) was filmed from the looks of this video on the Stones site.

So I think a DVD, of AT LEAST the first show, is probably a given."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -
To those wondering about a DVD, it will be forthcoming. Next Saturday's show from Newark will be on PPV, so there will be a high-quality video of the show. I can almost guarantee the shows will all be available for download as well. As much as I love the Stones, they've proven they do not want to leave any money on the table (nothing wrong with this, but it is a fact).
I just coughed up an obscene amount for floor tickets to the Thursday show in Newark. It is my understanding Mick Taylor and Gary Clark, Jr will be joining them as well. I've never been to the Prudential Center. Does anyone have any tips or advice? I know PJ played some shows there a few years ago. Good venue? I am staying in Manahtten, but I would like to head to Newark early before the show. Does anyone know any good bars in walking distance?0 -
There's a bar next to the arena called brick city go there.0

I've never been to Newark, but over on IORR from what I've been reading it sounds like kind of a bad place. The advice over there seems to pretty much be "get in and get out...don't linger". I'm sure it's not a war zone or anything, and there are places that would be fine to hang out in, like the bar Bronx Bombers mentioned, or the arena itself. I just wouldn't head out there early for the sake of seeing the sights of Newark."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -

It's not that bad usually but I went to see the RHCP in may and one of the nights there were a few people assaulted by a gang of teens. It's Newark so just use common sense and be aware of your surroundings ie stay away from dark alleys.

They've posted a second night video.
