Wow. Those FTs could have come in handy last year in the playoffs :fp: Oh well, it was still the right move not to match that ridiculous contract that Houston gave him.

he went 9-11 from the charity stripe in one game this year. read it again 9 for 11 :fp: i don't think he hit 9 ft's all of last season. :fp:

100% agree it was an aweful deal

I'll go with 40-42 wins. I think what they showed in the first 10 games is what they are going to be. An average team. Even with a healthy Rose, this team wasn't doing anything this season.....the bench is so weak.

rose makes such a huge differnce. nobody on this team can create or break down a defense.

agreed on the bench....taj, butler and robinson are ok. the rest suck. the 3pt shooting is aweful. going to be along painful season

I still think unloading Boozer and losing 60 games would have been the thing to do this year.
Get a lottery pick and see what happens in free agency.

Right now they are in NBA Hell...
Win 40 games, get a mid 1st round pick, and go nowhere.

pretty much. they gutted the bench, why not gut the starters....

ditch boozer, send deng in for wrist surgery, start teague, and trade rip

    win 10 games

secure top draft pic....select big shooting guard that can break down D and shoot the 3.

play rose, shooting guard, deng, taj and noah.

    win championship

Great plan, but who the hell is going to take Boozer and that contract?? Sure, they could amnesty him, but I don't think they'll be doing that with 2 more years on his contract after this one. Bulls are in salary cap hell right now. Unless they decide to amnesty Boozer before next year which I doubt, it's going to be more of the same next year with the same starters and shitty bench.

we have rose back next year...makes a big difference, and that may inspire mgmt to invest in a bench and go over the cap to win.

maybe we can amnesty boozer and bring in howard as a FA and move noah to the 4.:lol::lol:

I completely agree, but haven't the Bulls made it pretty clear that they aren't going to go over the cap and pay the luxury tax?

Fuck Howard. But yeah, my opinion of him may change if that did happen.

i know they have tried to avoid it, but i would hope they would be willing to go over with rose back to chase that championship.

gotta be one of the richer teams in the leauge...big market should get them a better than average tv contract, and the biggest (i think) venue in the league that is always sold out.

they have to be flush with cash if they are building a new training facility...right.

Absolutely. Definitely hope they would be willing to pay the tax to seriously contend for a title.

Bulls have to be a cash cow. Biggest venue in the league for sure....and it isn't cheap to go to a Bulls game. Can't sit in the lower level for less than $100 face value. That's why the only Bulls games I go to are when I get free tickets.

Yeah, that new training facility won't be cheap. That looks really cool. They also want to put a few bars/restaurants over in that area. Should be nice when it's all done.
