i was just reading a piece on Obama and thought what about 'Forward'.

The concept of that title is fab i think. Jeff would have a great time designing Cover art for this. As A Irishman i think 'Forward' says a lot about how USA needs to go. Come to think of it, Ireland needs to be thinking ahead too!!!

i wish i wish i wish i wish, i guess it never stops

The way things are going people are going to be calling this new PJ album a reunion album. 2 albums in 10 years.....brutal....... at least I got King Animal to hold me over.

Can someone explain to me how PJ has only released two albums in 10 years when they have released one in:

    2003----Riot Act
    2006----Self Titled
    2009----Backspacer
    2013----New record

Is my math off or do people on this board need to start counting on their fingers?

They release one every 3 years or in this case 4 years. I think they have released enough live records and side projects to keep us happy.

Well "2013----New record" doesn't exist yet so you can knock that off the list. And Backspacer kinda blows so maybe CTD10 decided not to count it. So that leaves two records in ten years....I guess.

Riot Act was in 2002, not 2003.

It was released at the end of November 02 and they didnt tour it until 2003. Plus Backspacer didnt blow. Its a solid album.

You're not kidding. I'm almost sure they are - but I just hope they're taking this new album seriously because it seems Backspacer was a little rushed out of the gates and they need a new album that is a clear couple steps up from Backspacer in my opinion.
