EV's solo show.

The show was freaking incredible.

I was optimistic going to my ed solo show last year....
Figured it be pretty cool...but...man was i wrong...cause like you...

    same results....completely....hand down...Barnone....BLOWN AWAY!!!

And what's most impressive is that,.. i think Ed's truely the happiest person there...

he's seams just as excited to see the crowd as they are to see him....

so fucking cool to be part of....

if i wasn't at Deluna Fest and Atlanta recently....

i'd be making one of his stops...if not a few... :D:D:D:D

That's so silly, why would you have low expectations?:lol::lol:

Glad you had a good show.

I was the same. I thought over 2 hours of him and a guitar might be a bit dreary and downbeat but it was excellent. So much I booked a second show :D

Best experience aside from seeing PJ live... Ed interacted with the crowd...he was personable...he even took a request and played LBC!! Great experience, and I'm glad others enjoyed it too.

It seemed like nothing could top Missoula, but EV came dang close

Wish I had time to catch another show, but freaking work always gets in the way.

You really should have brough him/her. There were a bunch of fathers there with their daughters who had to be somewhere in the 4-7 range...

There was one girl 2 rows in front of me who was adorable... she was dancing around and loving all the songs from "Ukelele Songs" and "into the wild" ... then she'd curl up in her dads arms for all the pearl jam songs and covers, with the exception of "just breathe" when she pretty much exploded.... ... cute ass kid....

Edit: if you bought the shirt-postcard set for Houston and have no use for the postcard, I'm searching for an extra for an art project and would love to get one... happy to pay a few dollars for it. thanks. ;)
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Great!! Although I don't really understand why anyone would have low expectations given the fact that it gets such massively rave reviews without exception, and also because it's Eddie Vedder! I have yet to see him solo, but my expectations are through the roof and into outer space, and I still have no concern that they won't be exceeded when I do see him.

I was the same - I went to my first Ed solo shows in Vegas. While I was really excited for them and I've heard how great they are, I came in not really knowing what to expect and wasn't getting my hopes up too much. Needless to say the shows blew my mind and I couldn't have been happier going to the shows. I really didn't even expect the theater to sound that great in there. Not only were the shows beyond what was expected and incredible, but the other PJ fans and group of people hanging out at the pre and post parties were incredible too - it was like being at a PJ show. It was just an absolute blast and incredible experience. I was beyond depressed once the shows were over and I was flying back home from Vegas.

the solo shows give Ed more opportunity to show his own personality and sense of humor. I could listen to him tell stories all day every day.
It's nice to be nice to the nice.

  • In case anyone is on the fence about going to Ed's solo shows, I say GO!!! You will remember these shows for the rest of your life! I just saw three (Phoenix, ABQ, and El Paso), and I had the time of my life at each one! :D:D The songs, the stories, Ed being Ed-it was all so wonderful. I think everyone should have that chance to see an EV solo show once, and hopefully more in the future!

My favorite part of the show threads is hearing what Ed says.
Having been to numerous solo shows with really good seats I often missed
some of what he said. Maybe it's the mesmerized

Happy for all those enjoying the shows :D
