Ok get all your idiot comments out of the way first....
Ok. I have a new laptop that's less than a week old. This morning I turn it on an after fucking around for a minute it said something about needing to reboot. No matter what I do a screen comes up that says "boot manager". In the "boot option menu" it gives me one choice. "Windows boot manager (wdc 3200bpvt-22jj5t0). I select that and the screen goes black. After a minute or so a screen comes up that says "windows boot manager boot failed" and there's an option for "ok". I hit "ok" and after another minute or so a screen comes up that says "window boot manager boot failed" and again there's the "ok". I hit the ok tab and the screen says "no bootable device. Hit any key". So I do and it starts the process again.
This computer has windows 8 and I have no idea how to even attempt to boot it in safe mode. Thanks if anyone knows.

I know nothing about puters but you can turn off your laptop, then turn back on and start hitting F8 again and again and again. Then try choosing safe mode to see what happens, You wont' be able to do anything so thats a waste of time. Then turn you laptop off again and start hitting F8 again and see if you can choose to restore your system to an earlier time. Let me know. When that doesn't work we try something else."In the age of darkness

The tech guys will probably keep you on the phone for something like three hours, so I'd suggest getting rid of it. You should be able to send it back for a full refund or an exchange."Where's KW?"

Ok. I've tried the f8 thing. Just brings up that boot manager menu and does the same thing I described before.
81 I' did try the control alt delete thing and it brings me back to the same menu I described before.
Oh we'll. something's probably just bad with the computer. Fuck it. I'm getting an apple.0 -

The only one I described is the only choice. I truly think the computer is just screwed. Oh well.0 -
in the boot manager you're not getting choices like safe mode, safe mode with networking, restore my computer to an earlier time or last known good configuration, debugging mode ect..."In the age of darkness

Take it back or try to boot from your recovery disk. take it back. It's only a week old. They will have no problem exchanging it as defective. Too bad you can't wipe all the porn temp file and cookies off it first before returning."In the age of darkness
