The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

more medium-sized earthquakes over here. debate about the big one is getting bigger...You can spend your time alone, re-digesting past regrets,
Or you can come to terms and realize
You're the only one who can't forgive yourself0 -

Just had a birthday lunch for a co-worker and while chatting my boss is telling us about her new boyfriend. Here's what she says "He is just great because he doesn't care about sports at all! I just cannot see myself having to set aside a whole Sunday or Monday night just to watch a silly game, what a waste of time, I have so many better things to do"
Yes, she knows all about my football obsession.

Propped the fence up with some wood, tied the garage door shut, put a new bucket under the roof leak.
There's really not much more to do, and I'm thankful for that.15 years of sharks 06/30/08 (MA), 05/17/10 (Boston), 09/03/11 (Alpine Valley), 09/04/11 (Alpine Valley), 09/30/12 (Missoula), 07/19/13 (Wrigley), 10/15/13 (Worcester), 10/16/13 (Worcester), 10/25/13 (Hartford), 12/4/13 (Vancouver), 12/6/13 (Seattle), 6/26/14 (Berlin), 6/28/14 (Stockholm), 10/16/14 (Detroit)0 -

No... but do you think I can convince the insurance adjuster that the toast smoke stain on the kitchen ceiling is storm-related?15 years of sharks 06/30/08 (MA), 05/17/10 (Boston), 09/03/11 (Alpine Valley), 09/04/11 (Alpine Valley), 09/30/12 (Missoula), 07/19/13 (Wrigley), 10/15/13 (Worcester), 10/16/13 (Worcester), 10/25/13 (Hartford), 12/4/13 (Vancouver), 12/6/13 (Seattle), 6/26/14 (Berlin), 6/28/14 (Stockholm), 10/16/14 (Detroit)0 -

you could possibly tell them "the power went out, and I had gone to Costco and bought a bulk package of 500 candles, and...well...it was cold, and I needed to warm up, I can't possibly make a fire right here in the kitchen, right? At least I didn't burn the house down!"The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
