got the beautiful colour vinyl for my birthday, what a treat.
  • Two words: Like Suicide.

Hell Yeah! This is probably my all time favourite SG song! The drumming is fucking awesome on it...on the whole record!

Superunknown is one of those rare moments in music where there is not a weak song. Every moment is pure genuis & it is probably the most played album i have in my collection. It has everything that anyone could want to listen to & it is a listening persons record with so many intricate parts to such a heavy sound.

  • This album is pretty much all I've listened to for the last couple of weeks, it still amazes me how good it is. I honestly think it ranks up there with any classic record record from any point in time, it is that damn good.

I think one of the main reasons I rate it above Badmotorfinger and DOTUS (both stunning records in their own right), is the massive leap they made from Badmotorfinger in terms of songwriting, the progression is incredible.

Listening to Like Suicide at the moment........I can barely find the words to describe how utterly perfect that song is, knowing the inspiration for the song, and how Chris wrote the song just blows me away, a chance incident resulting in such a beautiful song. I love that you can hear all the instruments independently of each other too, and then there's that scream into the guitar solo........

Superunknown is an all-time great record. From Let Me Drown to Like Suicide, it's packed with classic Soundgarden tunes.
