Milan 06 Man of the Hour

I'm getting a sense that the crowd knew the song. Is that right? I sense this energy/noise that I refer to as a "crowd embrace" which is when the crowd is singing along on spot with Eddie. It's not as loud as chanting, and it's not an echo. Like the crowd noise embraces the band noise particularly the singing. If the song stopped you could hear a pin drop.
Did that really happen? Did the crowd at Milan 06 know the words to Man of the Hour. . . or am I hearing something that's not there?
Now, later there is big love for Daughter. I don't consider that a crowd embrace because it's so loud. It's more obvious. An embrace seems to be a reflection of how the crowd noise is accepted through the production.

I completely know what you're talking about. I remember the crowd cheering when the song started, but there wasn't much singing. Everyone loved the song but just kind of quietly appreciated it. You really could hear a pin drop if there was no music. Absolutely beautiful to have this song mid-set."This town deserves a better class of criminal... and I'm gonna give it to them."0

The video is in that thread! The crowd embrace is still strong there. I'll be able to post that video in my bootleg blog. Thanks for pointing me to that thread. There is no such thing as leftover pizza. There is now pizza and later pizza. - anonymous
