    Grew up in Ohio but live in Florida. Too many political ads. I agree with you.
    Thought there were 50 states part of our great nation but only a few are important
    due to there electoral votes.

    I'm in Ohio and I'm sick of ALL of the political mail!!! Enough already, I don't even read it. What a waste of paper.

    I am going to call the board of elections to see if there is a way to remove access to my address for contacting purposes from both sides.

    Kinda like a no contact list like the no call lists.

    my view is their right to free speech shouldnt trump my right to vote and my right to privacy in my own home.

    I agree , what a waste of paper. Most of what I'm getting is GOP shit. in my email too. That was my fault, I shouldnt have listed it in my regristration.

    Agreed. But the amount of political snail mail I've received this year is unbelievable. There is no escaping it.

    I just change the channel when I'm feeling bombarded by politishit.

    I'll also say that having gotten rid of our landline, we have not received one robo-call on our cells.

    (and I'm not sure why they call Cali a swing state - they pretty much swing just one way)

    It's a shame that the red and blue states are rendered obsolete. Here in Florida I'm pissed i haven't been sent any mail from the Romney ticket...let's keep this even will ya. I did get a letter from Michelle Obama basically focusing in on getting out on vote and HOW important Florida was in this election.

    Ah, let me pull a *insert random board member name here* and backtrack a bit ;)

    "Swing state" was used incorrectly on my part - I meant to refer to how the votes in this state typically swing one way. Not a bad thing in some cases, but is also taking us down the broke path.

    I'm sure its not as bad as in Ohio, but here in NC, the amount of ads, signs, phonecalls, snail mail, and everything else is getting ridiculous. Think of all the good that could be done with the amount of money being spent on this campaign.

    The question is...do they actually make a difference or change a voter's mind. I don't think so...still waiting for some Rmney mail. I'm home and sick but too sick to drive down to the mailbox. :(
