The goat from VS...

I had a very random Pearl Jam related conversation the other day at a bar in Mendocino. We were talking music and of course anytime that happens with me PJ gets brought up. He mentioned that he grew up in Montana and his father owned the goat from the cover of VS. I can't remember if he said he owned it before the photo was taken or after but he did say it's name was Rasta Jam. Can't be sure if it's true or just some random bar bs but it was awfully specific and random to be a lie. Anyone else know any details on the goat? Can anyone corroborate this?

    I'm not saying it's one way or the other... I don't trust wiki tho...

    In Barbados, they distinguish the difference by the color of the animal. This guide pointed to a whole flock of goats and called them goats and sheep. We were like, those are all goats. He was adamant that the light ones were sheep and the dark ones were goats...

    Hamilton is pretty close to Missoula, a descendant of the goat should have made an on stage appearance.
