Ed singing Down with a can of beer on his head

I was just watching a video on YouTube today where Eddie is singing Down with a can of beer on his head-very good and very funny too. (If I wasn't so computer illiterate I would post the link-it's from Halifax 2005)
At any rate, he mentions the name of the beer as being Keith. Does anyone know if this is a popular Canadian beer? I know very little about Canadian beers!

Well, just remember that "popular" and "good" are two completely different things when it comes to beer...

I can't stand the stuff, but that's just me personally...
Also - Little known fact: Keith's likes to advertise (or at least it used to when I still lived in Canada), that it's only brewed in Nova Scotia. This is false advertising. It is also brewed in Newfoundland.Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0 -
Now, that was impressive. He should consider singing one show a night with something on his head.
A few thoughts:
1) a pug
2) iceberg lettuce
3) a honey badger0 -

Originally founded & brewed in Nova Scotia. That's true, but only? not true there. There are Keith's breweries now in Ontario (London), Quebec (Montreal), Newfoundland (St. John's), British Columbia (Creston), and Missouri (St. Louis).

I'm born & raised here in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Keith's an alright beer. I like Olands Beer much more. Another Nova Scotian favorite.

Thanks for posting the links, you guys. One day I will surely learn how to do that!

I love the song and I love watching Eddie singing with that beer can on his head!

I was there.
Was pitching myself many times @ the show thinking if it was all a dream. Pearl Jam playing in Halifax? I've been following/collecting/worshiping this band since '91 and too finally see them here in the Maritimes after 15 year's? It was truly a dream come true for me & for their fan's here on the East Coast of Canada.

Would be an icing on the cake but seeing that they missed traveling East of Montreal last year on their '11 Canadian tour, I don't see them coming back in a long time.
But it's ok. Least we got to see them here in this small town. Being a PJ fan living in these parts, traveling is the only way to get to see my band at work. 0 -
