Got dupped on vinyl...

Out of My Mind and Time

My own fault. Was after the 95 CHI show and was not aware at the time that I needed to look for the mint green color vinyl. Mine ended up being yellow. They got me for $80. Is what it is. :fp:

My question is, does the original released mint version sound better? I think it was off a radio recording from KPNT anyways but did they "remaster" it in any way that the original mint version would sound better then the yellow or "copy" versions.

Bought the record because that concert is one of my favorites and to have in on vinyl was great. I like vinyl for the pure sound. Not just to have the original but does it sound better? A better sound quality?

Not sure what you knew about the lp, but I gotta think you knew you were not getting he original for $80. I have seen it got for between $300 and $500 for many years now....

With all this merchandise people got to do their homework before shelling out good money... People pay about $50 -$60 for the one you got... Maybe cheaper if you hunt for it a bit....

Why it is important to do your homework with all this merch out there... Many many import lp's and stuff like that....
  • Ok. Yes, the past is the past. Mistakes were made. Anyways.....any input on the question. Does the quality sound different? If so I get to look for original and pay the founded price. If not, I do not care that much if the sound is the same. I am thinking the sound can not be far off unless the official release was from master or remastered. I think it was all taken from a radio show so how good of original was there. Or who gives a shit and spin the fake fucker anyway. :fp:

The CD release may have the same quality as well. All from a radio recording.
