    Hurrah, I've updated but stayed digital.

    I've also left my phone at home and I feel like an arm is missing due to lack of whatsapping :roll: I expect 300 missed calls and texts, as well as lots of divilment when I get home!

    (Ed starts "Trouble" but stops immediately. He talks about a prank he used to pull that involved flashlights and smacking a friend with a pillow. He says that all the flashes from cameras feel like that prank is being pulled on him. He offers to make all the faces he is going to make for five seconds while people take pictures in the hopes that the flashes will stop after that.)

    (Ed talks about the venue and all the great bands that have played here and how he never imagined he would see the place let alone play it.     (Ed tells a story that ranges from him reading an article about corn communicating with other plants with audible clicks, to a friend that liked to make hallucinogenic tea that would make you think plants had eyes, could see and communicate with you. This eventually leads to Ed living on a small island alone and naming plants and trying to communicate with them. When a palm tree drops a coconut at his feet he likes to think the tree was offering him sustenance but admits it could have been trying to kill him)

    So I was waiting around near the bar before a Pearl Jam show. It was a pretty small venue (maybe The Village or somewhere similar), and not many people had arrived yet. I was talking to someone, no idea who, maybe Daithi cos he loves a good aul rant, and I was explaining how I couldn't understand why people would queue up all night just to stand in front of the band and say "yis are fuckin' shite!" complete with hand signals. Just as I said that, Jeff Ament turned around after getting his pints at the bar (as he would do :roll: ) and said "ah here, that's a bit harsh!" (I think Jeff was Irish) I fumbled, trying to explain why I just called Pearl Jam shite, and he was having none of it. We had a bit of banter, and off he went :lol:

    And thus concludes another Pearl Jam dream for this week :corn:

    Y'know those Living Social/Groupon sites? There was a deal for 2 tickets for Pearl Jam in Dublin in February 2013, with dinner and a hotel stay for something like €100. There was uproar cos there was nothing about it here, no tour rumours etc.
