What do you think?

Extra long show filled with old and rarely played songs due to connection with MT?

Regular set filled with hits due to fund-raiser atmoshere for John Tester?

I have wondering about this for some time
thats why it is going to be one of a kind show
are we going to get an acoustic set like BH
or half jamming and half mellow
I think we will c a few rarities just a girl and hold on and the infamous
Hard to imagine would be ideal for me.
    It's going to be special
    until next time......

I was initially thinking mellow show with the recliners on stage...unless they plan on smashing them...

setlist will be one of the greatest.

    Fatal?

Oh it seems clear now. I guess being at MSG makes some of these songs seem common!!!

I honestly am still hoping for PJ to go on an all acoustic tour one year. Maybe when they are very old :lol:.

I was thinking this would be a crazy "last show in a while" vibe before the Oracle show was announced. I am still confident it will be a crazy show....band probably won't play live for a regular crowd for at least 4 months...Do not know if the building has a curfew, but I am sure we'll all be leaving there quite sweaty and hoarse!
I will not lose my Faith, it's an Inside job today....

I think we'll get a show similar to the last show that was posted but maybe a little longer at 28-30 songs since so many of us are traveling for it. Hopefully we'll get two ultra rarities like Hitchhiker or Fatal.

I don't think PJ will play longer than their standard 2.25 - 2.5 hour show. They really haven't strayed much from this formula since Philly 2009.

I expected nothing more than kick ass music! So excited to see them.

Though, I'm hoping for not a whole lot of political preaching, but won't complain if there is, because that's what the show is for. Still...hoping there's not much. :D Either way, I plan to rock out!

article this morning with Jeff Ament interview

“Last time it was kind of Jon’s show, and it made it more of a political event,” Ament said. “This time it’s our show, and we sold Jon a handful of tickets, which they’ve in turn turned into raffles and packages and they came up with some creative ways to raise money with the tickets.”

  • Would love a rarities show like PJ20 Alpine night #1. Since we're in political election season, I could see more than the usual 1 or less tunes from Riot Act making it into the set list (considering they toured heavily and supported that album around ten years ago during a very heated tumultuous political climate and many of the songs reflect that). Although this time around, the political party and guy they and most fans support is currently President, so less anger all around.

Covers wise - would also really like to hear Gimme Some Truth and Soldier of Love which haven't been played for awhile.

Even if they just broke out Dirty Frank, Hitchhiker, Driftin, etc.. for the fuck of it, that would be cool.

I feel like it will be similar to the 2006 Portland show that was a Chron's benefit. Which wasn't shabby, by the way.

Hoping for a good set and I know this goes contrary to what most board members want, I'd like only one or two real rarities (dirty frank, fatal, etc).
I love to hear all PJ songs and the hits, to me, are what make a show even more entertaining. To be clear, I love all PJ, but I don't get all the mud been thrown at setlists that play more greatest hit. Don't get me wrong, I love non hit songs off all albums, but I feel too many of them slow the tempo at live shows.
