Do you have a single favorite TV performance?
Mine is Hail, Hail on letterman 96. Will never forget it. It was kind of an unknown time period then PJ comes out ripped through that song. There's something overly passionate, unique and amazing about Eddie's vocal delivery
Honorably mention.... Love Reign O'er Me. Who VH1 rock honors show. Jaw dropping performance. Blew the other acts away that night, and yet they too were great.

Pearl Jam in Utica. 9/10.92. Ridiculous performance.0

Jools Holland 2006 - Mike's 'Severed Hand' solo is sick & 'Alive' is all kinds of awesome (behind the head solo / Ed dancing with Corine Bailey Rae)
SNL 1994 - For not being able to remember even playing Daughter Mike does a pretty damn good job! / RVM and NFY are both incredibly intense performances for a studio as well."I get into a state of consciousness that I can't explain. It is about feeling and not thinking. I get positive chills and insight into things that I can't get to any other way. It is Healing of the Soul." - Mike McCready0 -
the debut of Severed Hand on SNL in 2006...could not wait for the record after seeing thatyou're god and you've got big hands0

rearviewmirror on Letterman was so intense but apart from a dodgy VHS copy my mum has somewhere I fear that one is lost in time as a youtube/vimeo search reaped no rewards

Letterman '96 was one of my favorites too. It was the first Letterman Show that was commercial free. Also the first time we got to see Jack Irons behind the drum kick on TV with Pearl Jam. Was so hoping for PJ to play 2 tracks, being a commercial free broadcast & all they would have a lot of time to spare. They did with Leaving Here but was right @ the ending of the show where it was cut off during the live broadcast. I hope someday PJ or Letterman are able to release the full footage.0 -
