    Pippa, Jody and Chris all arrived safely last night and we'd a few quiet drinks :) it was still fucking 2am when I got to bed though :D and slept in this morning :eek:

    Because inset days are extra days for the teachers to do their 'business' which, of course, can't be done during the 12 weeks a year they get paid for being off! Tut, tut jrd.... you're asking too much of them! INSET days piss me off - they are meant to be training days, but teachers have their training throughout the year (and kids get supply teachers instead). I guess some schools DO do something valuable during those days, but most don't - teachers fart about tidying up their classroom, having cups of coffee, etc.
