Mis-heard Lyrics...

For years I thought in "Black" Eddie was saying..." I know she gave me yarn, that she wore" and thats how I would sing it... :o Just wondering what songs you sing or sang with the wrong lyrics?
I'm sure Yellow Ledbetter has all kinds of different versions!

    First, let me say I'm a member of the sigma pi fraternity. So I was so drunk at my wedding reception, that during the chorus, I swore they changed the lyrics on the disc on alive. Cuz all I heard ass ohhh I, I'm sigma pi yeah. Lol. Does that count?

    The guy who posted the lyrics that I was talking about wasn't citing the live at the garden version...I'm just saying dont post lyrics unless you know them.

    there's sth also with Hail Hail (given the fact that I so much like the live version they played in Manchester!!!). Here is the lyric from the site: http://pearljam.com/music/lyrics/997/st ... m_id=18609
    The last verse (..."so could you only one..."), i think is wrong, because in the album's polaroid card it's says (which also makes meaning) ...so good you, only one...
    I tend to hear Ed sings the second, but again, these are lyrics from two official sources :fp:

    Yes, that too. It's hard on me how many alternative arrangements of the words he can end up on...Painfully matched, I'd say....

    I always thought Ed was saying...

    I thought the "half-painted room" part made more sense with "can't deny there's something wrong".

    same as me, with all this story of Eddie with his father, I always hear: "Alone in a corridor waiting my daddy, got up and then ran for hundreds of miles"...But I mean, I ALWAYS hear it this way!!! :lol:
