in iowa we love our bibs as well. in fact, just the other night it was 50 degrees and i wanted to sleep in my bibs. i walked in the rain all afternoon/night and was so thrilled to have my bibs on i done turned silly and thought about curling up in bed whilst wearing my wet frickin bibs & flannel. one cannot ever forget the flannel/bib matching set

I work in a power plant so I wear bibs everyday to work. I have a pair of Carharrt lined bibs for outside in the winter, a pair of sandstone unlined bibs for inside the plant, and a pair of Dickies denim bibs for hot summer work. Love them all. No matter how dirty I get climbing on top of turbines or inside boilers, as soon as I take them off, my pants underneath look as clean as when I put them on. Well worth the investment if you are work hard and get dirty often.

My prince is wearing some even as we speak. But he favors the striped ones:

I used to wear them a lot for working in the yard. So much more comfortable than jeans if you do a lot of digging, lifting, etc. I don't have any now but this thread is making me think I should get some.
