 I'm like you. Bring as little as possible (so no one expect me to look good). An extra pair of jeans though... last time I went on a short trip with just the pair I was wearing I fell in the only mud that was within miles of me, got covered head to toe. Back up pants are a necessity.

i'll be gone 6 days. so i figure 3 pairs of jeans, 7 or 8 t shirts, boxers and sock pairs. two hoodies and maybe a coat. guess i better pack some lounge pants this time.:lol:

so still no decision on shoes?
yup, sounds like my packing list too.
When I called the KOA the woman told me they'd been hitting the 30's at night already.
I'm going to bring a little space heater and my -20 rated sleeping bag....I will have people lined up to sleep with me
(hmm....wonder if there is power in the cabins? )

    cabins have power...and heaters.

guessing i will wear sandals for the drive, and i'll pack some tennis shoes for the show night and wear some boots the other nights....maybe.

shit well so much for that plan :fp:
I mentioned the AC units to the woman on the phone; that's when she told me the temperatures, and said 'you'd probably be asking for a heater before AC at that time of year'....I'll take your word for it that they have heat tho.

one night it's -1, the next night, 9... Sorry, I only know Celcius.

For a second there, I about crapped myself -1 to 9 degrees F would be FREEZING.

Then I did the math (thanks, Google!): 30 to 48 degrees F. Totally tolerable and great outdoor tent camping weather!

But I'm pretty sure someone on the boards (PJ_Rocks?) said Montana can have some pretty wildly shifting temps that part of the year. So my plan is to bring lots of layers.

yes...I am packing shorts and jeans. I will bring a heavy jacket to be prepared for snow (yes, it CAN snow in September there)

it snowed one year on Memorial Day.

so basically...I should stick with my original plan and bring everything in my closet just in case

or bring nothing, and go shopping each AM to pick out a new outfit. :fp:

i'm bringing jeans, t shirts and a a couple of hoodies, as well as boxers and socks. bam done.

I am aiming for carry on! Not sure I'll manage it, but I'm gonna try. Friday night to Tuesday afternoon - That's not long... man, I wish this trip was longer... I'm hoping that someone from the band will make an appearance somewhere Monday night. I think there is some band that is worth seeing playing in a club or something on Monday night but now I can't remember who it is ... Will someone special show up? Jeff maybe? You never know! Of course I'm having fantasies of being behind Eddie while in line for cigarettes at the Quik-E Mart and having a solid conversation about Fugazi, too, so maybe I'm a bit of a dreamer.

Maybe? Well, more than I was planning on bringing. Two jeans, one shorts, six shirts, one hoody. Maybe a coat. (I hadn't even thought to bring one till you mentioned it.) Plus, I figure I'll probably get a hoody or shirt at the show, too. Meh, guess it's not that huge of a difference.

one shirt/boxer/sock pair per day....with a couple of extra's in case of shit getting spilled, or not wanting to wear a certain shirt. :fp:

i ussally count day's and take one item per day with one extra for boxers/socks...so those will be at 7

gotta have two hoodies....good chance they will get a bit of a stink from the camp fires. ;)

That's true. Anyone going to the KOA needs a hoodie and jeans for campfire-standing-around only.
