Um, no. I work in the US, pay taxes in the US, support my troops from the US, but buy what the fuck I want!!!!

Why does it cost more to ship within the USA opposed to shipping from China. Ill pay another $5 knowing the work and money was kept in the USA. I am just so shocked that a band like PJ wouldn't care about some thing like that.

I know some things need to be made out of the country but Im sure we can manege to make a lumber jack jacket in the USA

I don't know why (well, cheap labor, lower benefits, longer work days), but based on the fact that just about everything is made in China it appears that it is much much cheaper.

I would pay $5 more a shirt for US made goods. But a lot people bitch (complain, not the 99 problems defnition) on here that shirts are too expensive so I thought before this argument gets too far, if people don't want to pay Made in America prices then they shouldn't bitch.

One thing about Americans is that they will complain no matter what. If you get one to stop complaining chances are some one will pick up right where they left off. Its just in our DNA now.

Can you clarify where the computer, tablet or phone you are posting from was made?

I'm not trying to start with you, but I think its easy to criticize the band for offering this jacket while ignoring all the other items we buy everyday that are made overseas.

I'm not criticizing the band. My question was more towards the people that are angry about the Made in China label. I just wanted to make sure they were okay paying higher prices for USA made goods. Because if they aren't, we shouldn't be arguing the issue if their (fans) pocket book comes first.
  • oh look, a lumber jacket! just in time for those oh so chilly australian summers

I hope that is sarcasm and not a genuine question.

Maybe the jacket was made in China to support PJ's Chinese fans.....:lol::lol::lol:

Sorry. I totally misread that. Good point.

Its a fair point though. All those complaining about the jacket being made in China - I bet they have other clothes and products made in China. So (to quote RNDM) whats the beef with the jacket being made in China?

Go check your PJ wardrobe boys and girls, you'll be surprised to see where your shirts are made. I have 8 or 9 shirts and only one was made in the USA. The others were made in Turkey (current PJ & EV tour shirts) and one was even made in Haiti.

I don't think $90 is that exapnsive for a jacket. But it's not my cup of tea with that shiny fabric on the inside... Would have loved PJ to have more of an army jacket.

$90 dollars isn't that bad for a jacket when they are selling hoodies @ that same price.
I collect / buy all PJ but I just can't pull the trigger on this one.
