Thanks so much to everyone who made the Wishlist Pre Party a successful event! We raised about $3,000 for a great charity that helps abused kids. I still have some of the signed and numbered posters available if anyone wants to cover shipping and make a small donation. PM me if you do.
Here are a bunch of pic's on my Facebook page. Enjoy!

Awesome video!! Although you know, it still always blows my mind that someone would rather stand there as still as possible and watch the show through their iPhone to get a decent video than rock out. It seems like a real shame!! But at the same time, I'm glad there is always a video out there from all the shows. Maybe there should be a volunteer each show to be the one to stand there and film and see the show on the small screen even though they're there, so everyone else can rock out, rather than 100 people all trying to get some footage. NOT IT. I'm a poor cinematographer. My phone's no good for that. I can't keep my hands still enough.dimitrispearljam wrote:

I got to talk to Ron Howard but wasn't able to ask too much about the documentary. However, he did tape the entire show so I don't think it was just about Jay-Z. A whole PJ doc to remember that night would be fantastic.0

Was bummed as well. Met up with everyone I had specific plans to and that was great, you know who you are
But was looking foward to picking people out randomly by their forum names, lol. It's fun calling out people and watching all the other people acting like they don't care meanwhile they too really wanna know your forum name,
....Wait, I take that back..I did meet irishgal21 and eeriepadave, cool peeps. And somebody came up to my boy pjwhip and randomly said "I don't think I like you" or something to that effect... Was later told it was 81. So bummed cuz I really want the smoking babys autograph
Oh, and RTFC (Paul) Nice meeting you there right after a pm sent
Now that I wrote this, maybe I did meet a lot of people, Ha, Vicoden and wine..
No matter, I had a blast. And to whoever won that Lesean McCoy football..I'll trade ya for the Nnamdi Helmet

Thanks for the kind words guys, but now I have some things to say.....
This is the first show out of my 16 shows that I embraced the idea of meeting up with people from the message boards. I have lurked around here for a LOT of years, just never had the courage to post.
I met a LOT of great people this weekend, from Released1980, to irishgal21, to mamasan23, eeriepadave, to the infamous 81, whos first words to me were "you're a fraud"!!! hahahahahahaha!
Just want to say thanks for a great time this weekend, it was a pleasure to meet you, and 81 all I have to say to you is GO BIG BLUE (and anybody playing ohio st)!!!!!
Look forward to meeting many more of you down the road!!!
