i see nothing about pearl jam.

No Pearl Jam at this show. Its in the Porch section because it was a rumor. Should be moved to "Other Music".

    Oh okay. Thanks!

Can you win more than once?

Can you still acquire points to win again? I'd like to increase the chances for my friends who have been shut of thus far.

Did you points reset? Mine never did. How did you go about doing anything different/specific in order to win twice?

points didnt reset i think some points were deducted at some point

winning twice didint do anything to try to do it i was shocked when i got the 2nd email cause i got my first pair i was happy and done

but now i did the tweets and stuff again to get my points back up there and if i win plan to give them away

My best guess is they subtract 3 or 5 points coinciding with your wining entry and then can continue to earn more/stay in the draw. Thanks for the info.

  • So, does anyone know anything about set times and such?

I read somewhere that the festival will run 5-9pm, but that seems crazy with 5 acts and of such high calibre. I'd hope that Foos and Neil get at least an hour/hour and half each, but a 5pm start time seems odd.

I'm slightly suspect of this festival as there doesn't seem to be all that much info about the thing and who really is putting it on...

5-9 PM? Sure as hell hope it's not that....somehow doubt it is, though. I do know doors are at 2 PM, though!

    That sounds more like it.

And trying to decide the same thing as you...but right now my friends and I are leaning towards getting there on the earlier side...this show is once in a lifetime!

Everything I can find says that there's a strict 10pm curfew for Central Park concerts, meaning these are going to be some short sets to get 5 bands in 5 hours, with set changes between. Hopefully we can get an hour of each of the 3 big bands.

    From the FAQ site.

When will the Global Festival start and finish?
The gates to the site will open at 2 PM. The festival itself will commence at 5pm and end at around 9pm. All times are dependent on weather.

    Hmm. Interesting.
  • See, I just don't get that. Set changes and such, it's 4 hours for 5 bands, 3 of which are hugely popular! People are flying and driving in from all over the world, for 4 hours. :fp:
