You would have gotten a good laugh last night...
Had you seen the nonsense show Baldy was putting on for us...
Just a fucking joke...
Yet he was rewarded with a victory...
Funny how it goes sometimes in tourney poker isn't it.0 -

I tend to disagree with that but I understand your point. At any given time a tournament player is only betting their buy in...where a cash player is betting real world money at any given time. Also, with cash games, players come and go much more freely than tournament play. A guy with a short stack at a cash table is a lot less likely to "gamble" just becasue hes short stacked. Makes no sense. That's still real money they are playing with.#FHP0 -

just so you know, i will not be calling you unless i have 4 of a kind.
Thanks!
But don't worry, I'm sure I'll be 'donkeyed' by some eagle wearing a toupee and be out
within the first 20 minutes.
Which, given the agonizingly slow nature of Baldy's play, will be about 3 hands in.Nice shirt.0 -

Donkey calls, donkey rivers, donkey whatever....that drives me fn nuts!
As the weeks and months go by it is fairly OBVIOUS to see their strategy. They bet early, they bet often, they play AGGRESSIVE right off the bat, and hope to double up as soon as possible. Cmj and Baldy will call anyone, with anything. There is no method to their madness. Rivvers had to be THRILLED the 1st 6-8 hands of the night, when cmj doubled him up. Cmj just kept throwing his money in the pot, trying to bluff, and rivers consistently called and eliminated cmj in less than 10 hands. Baldy SHOULD have had the same fate, and been knocked out next. INSTEAD Baldy was playing donkey crap, after donkey crap, and getting lucky 90% of the time, and winning his hands.
Bestdeal also plays aggresive, but he his 5x the player Baldy is.
I cant blame Baldy for calling my all in yesterday. It was an additional $600 to him, and he already had $300 invested. It was a No-Brainer, of course he is going to call me. But I knew damned well when the cards got turned over, that Baldy was going to have SHIT! 3-J!!! But I had shit too. hehehehe
It's not so much, at least to me, that they play aggressive but that they call EVERYTHING!!! I haven't played with cmj enough to really notice his patterns but I actually put a note in Baldy and Bestdeal's Pokerstars circle that they call everything.
I also put notes about Speedy and mca, but I won't repeat those here since this is a family website."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0 -

For the past two years or so I have only played at casinos for the most part. Most people I play with are amateurs...I'm an amateur...I don't gamble nearly the same at a cash table as I would at a tourney table....unless I sense the same type of player...then I push the shit out of them.0 -

Last hand as far as I can remember.
I was dealt pocket Js. I think I raised and he called. Flop is J, something, something. I check, he bets, I raise, he goes all in, I call. Then I think the turn and the river gave him the rest of the straight, I think he had a Q 10. I could be wrong about some of this because all I could see was my 3 Jacks. As it was happening, I wasn't even thinking about him catching a hand like I normally do when I am in any hand with him. When it hit the last card, I did a double take when the 22,000 (!!!!) chips went to his side of the table. I was left with 200 or so chips so technically that wasn't the last hand, but really it was."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0 -

On a draw??
Typical move for Baldy...
Watching his play yesterday was somewhat amusing...
I wasnt getting crap..
I knew I wasnt going anywhere..Couldnt get involved in many/any hands
So I obviously had plenty of time to watch everyone else...
Baldy takes Donkeyism to a whole different level....Take me piece by piece.....

Bald man came across the screen
He brought us pain and misery
He took our chips, he beats trip threes
He plays our game like a donkey
We fought him hard, we fought him well
Out on the felt, we gave him hell
Run to the hills
run for your liiives!!
Run to the hills----run for your lives!"We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0 -

Yeah all his chips on the line on a draw on a draw after playing for over an hour with the big blind at or almost at 1000. It was fitting."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0 -

Sing his song for him!
One good thing was he doesn't know how to push people around when he has a big stack. I don't think he raised once when we were heads up and we started heads up with him having 18K and me about 3K. He let me back into it."We're fixed good, lamp-wise."0 -

Yeah, that was a complete joke.
I've almost become de-sensitized to that kind of crap. Every week it's the same crap. Donkeys hitting a river after a shitty call. I'm glad I didn't stick around to watch that last hand!! That's just ridiculous...0 -
