TSA vs. the Reaper shirt?

I've always wondered... has anyone here worn their Reaper shirt while traveling through US airports? What happened? Did they give you the "random" extra security check & patdown? It's not a very America Is Friendly t-shirt, but I always wondered if TSA would like arrest you if you tried to get on a plane wearing it.
I don't even wear mine in public much cause I fear some idiot "USA! USA! USA!" kinda person threatening me. The kinda people who were at the Uniondale concert, for example.
But less intelligent.

won't happen for the reaper shirt I'm afraid- too cryptic.
A far more dangerous shirt is the get right tee that I wear often in hopes of inciting conversation. Looks nice and arabic and some (many?) people here in North Texas hate that. Many people ask what it says and I tell them but I don't ever say it's in english. Most see it.0 -

I'm curious to know why you chose Tenzing Norgay as your user name? I am assuming that is what Tenzing N. stands for.
Of course, it's merely curiousity that has me wondering. Feel free to ignore me or tell me it's none of my business. I won't be offended."My brain's a good brain!"0 -
I think it's one of those great examples of someone who did so much work and gets no appreciation. Everyone knows that Sir E. Hillary was the first to climb Mt. Everest but it would have been impossible without Tenzing who gets, at best, a footnote. So whenever I have to choose a user name or whatever I choose Tenzing as a tribute.
I think Ed sings about those types of people all the time.
oh- and the word ten is in there which is cool too0 -
don't know about those shirts but whenever I wear the stickman shirt , i'm always asked if I know that their is a note stuck to the back of my shirt. lol0

Thanks for the response!
You are correct that the 'pulse' of the Everest expedition(s) rarely get mentioned or appreciated to the extent they should. Parallels everyday life- as you have alluded to as well."My brain's a good brain!"0 -
I wear the "Shut up and Listen" shirt through US customs. Most everyone was good natured about it, but got a lot of sarcastic comments.0

I have the Reaper tour t-shirt and I also have the more subdued reaper shirt that The faded line put out a while back... I don't wear the PJ one because I bought an L and I don't like wearing L shirts as I wear all my clothing super loose... should have bought an XL, but anyway...
I wear the faded line shirt everywhere and nobody's ever said a thing to me about it... My bro has the reaper shirt and I'm sure that he's worn it through Canadian customs at least a dozen time cause he doesn't give a shit about that sort of stuff... it's never caused him any extra hassle, but I mean he gets "randomly" selected for a search every time he walks into an airport anyway... he just has that "hippie smuggling drugs" look about him
... funny that he's almost finished law school...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0
