and I could care less less

well as long as you still care a little. that's all this little man could ask for.

    this.. right here.

why dont americans understand the basics of that phrase. i see it here all the time and in other forums.

i could NOT care less.. meaning that you care so little, that you could NOT care any less.

"i could care less" makes no fricking sense whatsoever towards the point you are actually trying to express.
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.
  • thank you Alberta Girl the whole point of the thread was to illustrate the tremendous sacrifices made by the band and the road crew to give us all these shows every year
They have played 35-40 shows TOTAL, in the USA, in the last 5 years?

    All these shows!!!!! hehehehe
    Tremendous sacrifices??? HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

last year Eddie had to miss his daughter Harper's 3rd birthday
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCVSehq_pQQ&feature=bf_next&list=PL9A00F7314885A11C&shuffle=851974
this year DeLuna Fest Sept 21, MidTown Sept 22, and thankfully Sept 23rd Eddie can celebrate his daughters 4th birthday with her
I got your message loud and clear, it was nice.

I agree the band does sacrifice probably much more than most imagine,
    and everyone wants more... right?

What a happy time in life ... celebrating number four! :D

Ok, as always, my freakishly "come-what-may-so
let-it-be"attitude on things mayNOTgo overwell... It
usually never does, BUT here goes.. I've been reading
this thread for it's tiny little thread life, cause when
it comes these things I find it semi- entertaining that
SOOOOO many people that don't KNOW any of these people
personally ( the band or their families), take what goes
on in their lived personally!! Remember many years back
when peeps on here actually argued over wether or not Ed
dyed his fucking hair?!?!? This thread sort of compares..
I say sort of cause at least this thread had carriage Merritt,
vs the other which was completely retarded and waste of space!
Anyhow, they knew things like this would happen when they decided
to continue touring while having families. It's all part of the package
deal of having children when you're an infamous rock star. Bret Micheals'
daughter Raine explains this perfectly when she tells everyone
"I had to learn to share, and that is really hard when it's your Dad you're
having to share with his fans all over the world"
I'll close with a quote from "WalkHard".... " Honey , I'm gonna miss
a few birthdays, shit I'm gonna miss a few births, " LMAO

I'm sure it sucks missing family events, but there are everyday people who work 2-3 jobs for 80 hours a week that barely see their families. And you know what happens after three weeks for them? They don't take 9 months off, they keep doing it. Week after week, year after year, decade after decade.

apparently nobody realizes all these guys have side projects, some more than one, I would not be surprised if Eddie and Stone are rehearsing or playing gigs 9 or 10 months a year, and I think all of them play more than 6 months a year on average

yeah, most of us aren't camping out outside 10C HQ in plaid sweaters and ripped shorts with dockers, keeping tabs on their comings and goings.

apparently your being able to judge people isn't any good either, I live 30 miles from Mexico and I have never been to Seattle

They have put out 3 studio albums in 10 years?
They have played 35 or so shows in the USA in the last 5-6 years??

    They must be exhausted!!!!!
