I was sitting on a top of a tree when I first saw you there
Looking at the sun in a blue sky
I wondered if you could see me
If you could see the real me deep inside
Not just the silly girl playing and having fun
Years went by and I could still see you
Looking at the blue sky on a sunny day
Then I thought I'd lost you for good
You wouldn't be standing there again
And I would never climb that tree again

I looked at the tree
and remembered that sad day
When I couldn't see you anymore
Then it all happened
I saw the sun rising from above
And he told me
'A STAR SHINES EVEN BRIGHTER'
I couldn't understand those words
Because I was too amazed with it all
I was not speaking
I was not listening
Just staring

Then, on a cold and foggy night I went there
Don't know why but I was there
And you were there too I just couldn't see
Then our wishes were heard
The sky was filled with stars
As the moon was lighting my way
While I was climbing that tree again
When I looked I cried of joy
There you were all along and I didn't knew
You were that star smilling at me
You were the angel I couldn't see
You were me ...



This poem was written 20 days after my father died
He used to write as well
I had never written anything like this up until that time
I remember feeling his presence as I was writting it
