Been so long since the last official PJ DVD. Was wondering when watching some footage of the 2012 EU Tour, there was lots of filming. Does this mean there's a chance there will be a new dvd (praying for a new Touring Band 2012!)

Maybe it's been so long because of how awful the last one was.

Cheesy, overproduced and alot of the tunes are played way too fast. Could be so much better with the available footage.

MSG is the weakest of the rest but still pretty damn spectacular.

Totally agree - IIC was cheesy, and apart from perhaps Corduroy none of the performances are that great _ Strange because they played really well on that European 06 tour - Some of my favourite bootlegs.

Singe Video Theory and Touring Band 2000 were superb, perfect releases...

A Touring Band 2011/2012 would be great - 2011 in South America on Disc 1 , 2012 in Europe on Disc 2.

If they do release their next "official" DVD/Blu-ray, please let it be a multiple angle version where we get to pic which cam or choice of cams to watch the show. Say we wanna to just see Mike the whole show. Or Ed. Or choose the director's shot of the film. Now THAT would be awesome!!

If not, then release Philly '09 already! :silent:

Do they still make DVDs???

Btw, you can pick up a blu-ray player for $50 these days.

Better do it soon before 4k blurays come out and I'm back here telling you to get with the times. ;)

Ah yes Blu-ray. Which IMO will be the last physical media platform. The Digital Download and streaming is catching up & there is so many users that prefer digital over owning the physical copy.

With audio, Pearl Jam got it. Offering digital & the physical products for their live performances.

With video, hopefully they will try out & offer many of their show's for 10club members in digital or physical purchasing. If they don't want to release those show's on DVD/Blu-ray, release them in 720p MKV HD files.
