    :D That's awesome I think I must go to the pre party and meet ya there. Nice that it's for a nice cause too. Wondering exactly how many people show up for an event like that and when they leave for the concert. Looking forward to seeing some of the other bands too (run dmc, chris cornell)

    I am also going solo and wouldn't mind making some friends. But I am not going to the pre-party so you will have to find me in the crowd. :):lol:

    Ticket says 12:00 noon as doors, so what time are we expecting Cornell to go on?
    My guess would be Cornell 6:30-7:30; Preal Jam 9:00-11:00. :?: :!:

    Can't wait!!!!! Only reason why I bought the tickets was to see pearl jam...then we got another surprise... Chris Cornell!!! Temple of the dog anyone?!? :D

    Same thing for me! Was going o go just for Pearl Jam, but Cornell makes it a great show with a great opener. I saw TOTD at PJ20, but I'm pulling for Wooden Jesus! :lol: (Never going to happen, but i can dream!) Hopefully Chris will play Wooden Jesus during his solo set!

    Where in downtown? Where the festival is being held is the mecca of Philly running - right on Kelly Drive/Boathouse Row behind the Art Museum.

    Now just hoping everything comes together with my friend being the one finding a place to stay for us! I guess if all else fails we could drive back after the show? That would not be too fun after a day at a festival, though. Oh well. It'll all come together!

    any suggestions for out of towners arriving on saturday to enjoy philly dtown area?(wife and i are not attending mia that night).

    we are going to bruce on monday and heard of some bruce exhibit but my wife is very meh on him to begin with so we maybe some museum, historical site, and restaurant suggestions?
