Now that my personal 2012 PJ adventure has come to an end  My thoughts are turning towards Eddie's Manchester show on Saturday the 28th July 2012  .

I dont know if this has been discussed on other threads, but can anybody confirm whether there are plans for a pre show get together for this show on the saturday afternoon?

To be honest I've not heard anything. But I don't always here about things.

Maybe when the PJ tour finishes something might get circulated.

    Sorry thats not much help.

Maybe. Hopefully something will be arranged. If there is another thread on this, please let me know.

  • The problem is I don't think there is any decent pubs near the Apollo. There are a couple of weatherspoons near Piccadilly station we could cram into. Only 15 min walk to the venue. Unless we all go back to the Old Wellington like we did for PJ.

The Old Wellington is 1.6 miles from the Apollo. Google maps says it will take 33 minutes to walk there. It would be good going back there especially after the good memories of last month. However, it is a bit further away than most people would like.

There are plenty of places near piccadilly which is just under a mile away. This should only take 15 minutes or so.

There is this place which looks pretty good:

    What do you think?

Not cheap in there mate. Just 30 seconds from there is a pub called 'Piccadilly'. It's similar prices to a weatherspoons and they have decent music running sometimes (Springsteen, Cornell, Pearl Jam etc) although volume is low.

In the B Lounge you can expect to pay about £3.50+ for a pint I think. But i'm easy :D

    Hi,

Does anyone have any information on timings for the show?

We're trying to sort out a babysitter and can't find any information on what time Glen or Ed are due on and we could do with finding out ASAP so we can figure out what time we need to leave home etc so we can book the babysitter.

I've looked on the apollo website but for all the use that was I may as well have been looking at penguins f*cking

Other than doors, there are not available timings as yet as far as I am aware. I suspect they will be out nearer the time, but I'd go for Eddie being on stage around 9 maybe, so glen 7.30pm maybe?
Peeps from Oz and the USA might be able to advise what the timings were like over there...
