According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Red Sox and Marlins are discussing a deal that would send Carl Crawford and a prospect to Miami for Hanley Ramirez and Heath Bell

That would be a huge huge trade.

Peter Gammons reported that this was NEVER talked about.

Verlander is a freak. His 119th pitch in the 8th inning just clocked at 99mph. Unreal how this guy gets stronger as the game goes on.

As a Braves fan, I could tell Bourn would get a hit but I had such a bad feeling when Kimbrel came out. There's just something about a pitcher who was not expecting to pitch for most of the night...

It's strange watching the Pittsburgh Pirates playing in front of a sold out home crowd against the Marlins and winning. The Nationals are winning too what has happened to baseball in the National league?

I can't see the Nationals pulling Strasburg from their rotation in August.
The nationals are only 3.5 games up in the NL East

55 innings until he hits 160.
    I hope they do :P

Cubs broadcast is tremendous. They have been talking about the in's and out's of framing pitches for two full innings. Love it
