I had a feeling this would happen, it's a personal show in support of Tester. Of COURSE they're going to try to get his actual supporters tickets rather than give them all to 10c members...
It would be a stretch to drive to Montana ONCE this year but to make me have to drive there just to get tix's then go back for the show is just too much... I call BS on this

"Come take my hand, and let yourself rely.
Don't hold your breath, don't close your eyes.
I've learned to breath and I've learned to fly.
I've learned to see and I know I'm going higher."
This really blows for those members who had high hopes for tix... but I understand why they did it, and it seems fair for the locals (the VOTING locals). This will obviously result in some crazy scalper prices though. I don't really understand why they didn't tell us this plan in the first place so members would know the deal and not hold off on seeking tix elsewhere. Perhaps they hadn't made the final decision on this until now...
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata
If anyone ends up with an extra Missoula ticket, I totally want to buy it. I had my heart broken this evening, and the first thing I thought afterwards was, "I wish I was seeing PJ this year." Apparently, they can mend broken hearts, or something.
You guys understand this IS a fundraiser for a senator in Montana? The fan club has already taken at least 70% of the seats available, and this wasn't an option at the Tester benefit in 2005. I'm sorry for those who didn't get 10C tickets (I didn't either, and I live 4 miles from the venue), It's a super small venue.
I'll be waiting in line for tickets, and if some of you can make the drive...it's 1,100 tickets available. There wont be that many people in line. Especially with 1 day notice.

Well, Dems in Montana are going to vote for Tester with or without PJ and a dollar from a person in Florida has just as much value as a dollar from a person in Montana.
I am just really happy they are playing a non-festival date in the US and that the 10c was able to provide the club with such a large cut of tickets. Let's just hope the set is not entire politically theme as it would be cool to focus on the parts of the PJ catalog Jeff contributed.
The entire town of Missoula and surrounding areas would have benefited more from not having an in-person only sale of these tickets. Out-of-state people bring their out-of-state tourist dollars.
I respect the band's decision but I just wish the initial announcement had included that little bit of slightly relevant info.
Oh well there's still Glacier Natl park to make my upcoming trip to MT worth it....
You will be on the rail with me dont you worry emily sue
If any member would be willing to go there on Friday and grab an extra for me I would be willing to pay by the hr to stand in line. I'm thinking $20.00 per hr should be great as it would pay for both your ticket and one for Emily Sue.
